The Picos Wildlife Forum

Discover the wildlife secrets of Spain's
Picos de Europa

Come and meet other naturalists holidaying in the Picos de Europa; talk about what you've seen, swap sightings and discuss the best place to track down that particular flower, bird or butterfly.

An informal get-together hosted by Teresa Farino, the Forum will meet in the wine cellar of Casa Cayo between 19.00 and 20.30, on the following dates in 2005:

Tuesday 5 April; Thursday 14 April; Wednesday 20 April; Tuesday 26 April;
Friday 6 May; Thursday 12 May; Thursday 19 May;
Thursday 2 June; Wednesday 8 June; Thursday 16 June;
Wednesday 6 July; Wednesday 13 July; Wednesday 20 July; Wednesday 27 July;
Tuesday 2 August; Wednesday 10 August; Wednesday 17 August; Wednesday 24 August;
Thursday 1 September; Thursday 8 September.

You don't have to be an expert to enjoy these meetings; a love of wildlife and the outdoors is all you need. You are welcome to join us at any time during the evening, and stay for as long as you want. After each meeting Casa Cayo is offering an optional evening meal for participants ~ a gastronomic selection of regional cuisine, with something to suit everyone. Price: 20 euros per person, including three courses, wine and coffee; children's menu 12 euros. It would be great if you could join us!

Please contact Teresa beforehand to make your dinner reservation; there are only 20 places available, so make sure that you book early!
